David is considered one of the young guns in professional poker today. He is currently attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is finishing up his last year there and plans on moving to Los Angeles after he graduates. David has already earned "celebrity status" as a player in Magic: The Gathering. David was first introduced to poker in 1997. David Williams is a tremendous poker player; he credits Marcel Luske as the person that has given him the most help with his game. David had a tremendous year in 2004 where he had a win, and two second place finishes in big time events. His coming out party was at the 2004 World Series of Poker where he went heads up with Greg Raymer in the main event. He eventually would be knocked out but not before he turned a lot of heads in the poker world. David is a player to watch out for in 2005.
