Gus is thirty years old and is a relative newcomer to the World Poker Tour. Gus began his competitive card playing as a professional backgammon player before joining the professional poker circuit. Gus is very selective in which tournaments he plays; generally he joins some of the larger buy-in events. To his poker peers he is known for being an extreme risk taker at the No Limit Hold'em tables, but his apparent recklessness has served him well. This intense young Dane is becoming one of the fastest rising stars in the tournament poker business today. He will soon be one of the most recognizable faces in the game.
