Layne Flack was born in South Dakota and grew up in Montana. Layne got started in poker as a dealer. He eventually opened up a cardroom in a casino in Bozeman, Montana. Layne is becoming a prolific poker player which is epitomized by his collection of five World Series of Poker bracelets. Layne is known by his fellow professionals as "back to back Flack" from his victories in the $2000 No Limit Hold'em and the $1500 No Limit in the 2002 World Series. Most people will recognize Layne from his appearances on the World Poker Tour. Flack is feared by opponents because of his unpredictability and aggressive style of play. He continues to improve his game with a little help from his friends and mentors, two of whom are Johnny Chan and Huck Seed.
