Birthdate: October 4, 1967
Birthplace: Cairo, Egypt
Current Residence: Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Mark has been playing poker for quite a while now as he was first introduced to the game when he was seven years old in his parent's house. Mike graduated from UCLA and studied law at Loyola University law school. Before he became a professional poker player he was a prosecuting attorney for the District Attorney. Mike took his knowledge from being a prosecutor attorney and used his combative knowledge to excel in poker. He often gets information from his opponents by getting them to talk during play. He would love to change the perception that he and his fellow professionals often get from the public as being known as a bunch of gamblers. Mark is a tremendous player and he demonstrated his skills at this year's World Series by winning two bracelets. It was an incredible performance that definitely elevated his status in the poker world.
