Poker Players

Pat Poels is a 37 year old first time winner at the World Series as he took home the bracelet in the $1500 Omaha Hi/Low event. Pat is a father of three who has been playing poker for a few years now. A year ago he approached his wife to discuss the possibilities of turning professional and he received approval and encouragement from her to leave his software development job to take the game of poker up for a living. Obviously that was a wise decision after he knocked out some tremendous players at this year's World Series of poker. The prize pool in this event was the largest cash prize in any Omaha Hi/Lo tournament ever played.
